What Drew Me to Coaching
Humanity is one of my core values which has led me to be interested in psychology, belief systems and the arts all my life.
Yet after high school, I choose to study computer science and pursue a career in the Tech world, which I did for 10 years. I was drawn to what we humans could create with technology and how we might make the world better with it.
In early 2006, I was working as product manager in a start up when I decided to go back to school and study psychology hoping to later make a career change.
What immediately drew me to find out more was the idea of
supporting people in a partnership where their struggles were not viewed as potential pathologies or problems to be “fixed” but rather opportunities for growth and transformation.
This deeply resonated with me.
Since then and until today, I am committed to growing my expertise.
I keep learning about coaching, embodiment, mindfulness, trauma, neuroscience and other related disciplines.
In my own life journey of healing my own wounds and leading my life and business, I have found and developed practices and rituals that incorporate conscious movement, yoga, Fendelkrais, dance, creative writing , improv, using oracle cards, painting – to name some elements – which I also weave into my work to different degrees.
If you are willing to expand your awareness and develop your creative power to navigate the challenges you are facing and to intentionally build your path forward, I am here for you.
